We honor the forgotten strains, the flavors left behind, the most elusive highs. We went deep into our sativa library to create the foundation for this collection.
1987 is a rare Ft. Collins Cough x Super Sour Diesel Haze (SSDH) crossed with a special Kali Mist x SSDH that we started working on eight years ago. SSDH is a prodigious plant. Fort Collins and Kali Mist were both selected for their famous highs. If you don’t know, ask the old heads.
There has been such a narrowing of the gene pool. At PCG we work to preserve the most interesting plants for future generations. We made our selections in each generation looking for the loudest metallic haze, church basement terps, and electric lift-off with no ceiling effect—all those qualities that built the legendary reputations of these classics. 1987 tests at 34% THC with THCV, CBG, CBC and finishes in 70 days.
